How to Share Content on Squarespace
Step-by-Step Guide for uploading and sharing your Retirement Plan Marketing content to Squarespace.
Blog Articles
- Navigate to your blog style page under "Pages"
- Select "+" at the top of the page
- Copy and Paste the title of the blog article in the section "Enter a Post Title"
- In the body of the article, select the content block editor and add an image
- Drag and drop the headline image of the blog article you are sharing
- Once the image is added, copy and paste the body of the blog article into the body of the Squarespace editor
- Once pasted, update any formatting errors
- At the bottom of the article (before citations), add your signature and disclosure.
- Once finished, click "Publish" or select the time stamp and schedule for a later date.

- Navigate to your blog style page under "Pages"
- Select "+" at the top of the page
- Copy and Paste the title of the PDF in the section "Enter a Post Title"
- In the body of the article, select the content block editor and add an image
- Drag and drop the headline image of the PDF you are sharing
- Once the image is added, open up the file with the "Email copy + social + website copy" that matches the PDF you are uploading.
- Copy and paste the "website copy" of the PDF into the body of the Squarespace editor
- Once pasted, update any formatting errors
- Select the content block editor and click the button icon to insert a file.
- Under Clickthrough URL, click the settings gear, then select "file" and "Upload File"
- Once uploaded, scroll to the bottom and select the file and "open in new window"
- Click "Save"
- At the bottom of the article (before citations), add your signature and disclosure
- Once finished, click "Publish" or select the timestamp and schedule for a later date

Note: You need your video uploaded to a YouTube or Vimeo account. If you do not have one, please contact us and we will provide you with a video link.
- Navigate to your blog style page under "Pages"

- Copy and Paste the title of the video in the section "Enter a Post Title"
- In the body of the article, select the content block editor and add an image
- Drag and drop the headline image of the video you are sharing
- Once the image is added, open up the file with the "Email copy + social + website copy" that matches the video you are uploading.
- Copy and paste the "website copy" of the video into the body of the Squarespace editor
- Once pasted, update any formatting errors
- Select the "+", and click video icon
- Insert the video link from YouTube or Vimeo
- At the bottom of the article (before citations), add your signature and disclosure
- Once finished, click "Publish" or select the timestamp and schedule for a later date
